This Privacy Policy explains how Aesir Industries LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Livestock Logs website and services (the “Service”). By accessing or using Livestock Logs, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
- Account Information: Name, email address, authentication credentials, and account identifiers used for secure access.
- Animal & Farm Data: Data you enter about livestock, feed, weights, production, and related metrics. We may aggregate and anonymize this data for analytics or research, including potential commercial sale of summarized trends (never individual user or farm identification).
- Location Data: Approximate location data may be used to enable features like mapping and geofencing. We do not perform precise GPS tracking unless you explicitly enable a feature that requires it.
- Billing & Subscription Information: Subscription tier, usage limits, pricing metadata, billing state, and related records needed to provide subscription features. Payments are processed by third parties such as Stripe or PayPal. We do not store full payment card details.
- Usage & Analytics: Technical data via tools like Google Analytics and Azure Application Insights (e.g., pages visited, device, browser, IP address, timestamps) used to improve performance, reliability, and security.
- Uploaded Media/Files: Files you upload (images, documents, logs), stored on Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
- Cookies & Local Storage: Used for login sessions, preferences, analytics, and personalization. Disabling cookies may impact functionality.
- Email Communications: We may send administrative emails (account notices, billing updates, subscription requests/changes). We may also send product or feature announcements; you can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Authenticate users and manage accounts
- Process payments and subscriptions
- Offer support and communicate about updates and features
- Analyze performance, security, and reliability
- Develop anonymized insights from aggregated livestock data
3. Account Linking & Delegated Access
If you choose to link your account with another user or grant someone access to your data, you acknowledge that the linked user may view or manage data within your account depending on the permissions you grant. You are responsible for managing linked access and reviewing who has access. We are not responsible for actions taken by users you authorize.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share data:
- With Service Providers: Microsoft Azure, Stripe, PayPal, Google Analytics, and other trusted vendors that help operate the Service.
- For Legal Reasons: To comply with laws, regulations, or valid legal requests.
- Business Transfers: In a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, data may transfer as part of the transaction.
Aggregated and anonymized analytics may be shared or sold, but will not identify individual users or farms.
5. Billing, Subscriptions & Manual Review
Some subscription actions (such as upgrades, downgrades, or cancellations) may require manual review by our support team. To process these requests and provide support, we may access limited account and subscription details. This access is restricted to legitimate support and billing purposes.
6. Data Retention
We retain data while your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data and uploaded files are removed from active systems within a reasonable period (typically 30 days). Certain records (such as billing, audit logs, or compliance-related data) may be retained longer when required by law or legitimate business needs. Certain logs or anonymized data may also be retained for security, compliance, or analytics.
7. Data Security
We host systems and data on Microsoft Azure with encryption and role-based access. While no system is completely secure, we take reasonable measures (e.g., TLS, hashed passwords) to protect your information.
8. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data; object to or restrict processing; and unsubscribe from marketing.

9. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if we become aware of such data, we will delete it.
10. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Policy periodically. Updates will be posted here with a new “Effective Date.” Material changes may be communicated via email or in-app notice.
